New goodies

It’s been forever since I’ve posted. Bad Blogger! Well, here is some eye candy to assuage you:

This is some roving I bought while visiting Oregon. On the left is some Black merino (I think it’s Merino) and the right is a hand dyed Blue Face Leicester. It feels pretty soft in the roving; and i can still see some of the crimp so I don’t think it’s been too overprocessed. i was thinking of plying the color with the black to tone it down just a bit. I’m definately going to enjoy spinning this up.

The 2 colors seem as if they’d do great together. Can’t wait to see the finished results!
