I have the same exact issue with variagated yarn--love it on the skein and hate the way it knits up.I thought I was the only one. (I should mention that I also have no interest in knitting socks.) I have been suckered on occasion to giving in to purchasing some and have considered not fairisle but mosaic stitch solutions. I have knit with Brooks Farms yarns quite a bit ( I can't resist buying some at the MSW each year) and I think you will be able to use the two yarns together. I love the colors you chose. Enjoy, these yarns a dream to knit with and to wear.

Ohhh, your stuff looks gorgeous. Was just surfing, looking around, because i find Excel very confusing to use...then saw this software of yours. WOW...looks like something i want...one day, when i hopefully got the money. I'm on early retirement....pension, because of Fibromyalgia, but I'm allowed to earn a little beside that. Playing with some thoughts about designing, and got some ideas. I will look forward to read on your blog when surfing around,.....keep up the good work. HUGGA
