Sheep-News-Weekly: Rare Purple Sheep Sighting!

In an unprecendented event, Sheep-News-Weekly has managed to capture the elusive purple sheep , Lamby, taking a dip at the local spa.  Witnesses report that Lamby was quite lumpy and looking very un-star-like when she entered the spa.  Onlookers speculated as to specific brand and scent of the soap she used:

Later, we were able to capture Lamby sunbathing as she dried her now much fluffed up self:

We suspect her next stop will be in the local beauty parlour to get her eyes and mouth painted.  Sheep-News-Weekly will be lurking and ready to do whatever it takes in order to get you the sheep-news you so deserve!

Sock patterns

As I sit here debating spending my time between knitting, spinning or playing World of Warcraft, I thought i’d post here. The Knit Foundry now has some sock patterns up for sale.   It’s a lot of work to get them put together in a new format that hopefully reads well in addition to looking nice.  Check them out on http://www.knitfoundry.com/patterns

Soon a picture of a knitted sheep for you to giggle at! Blocking must happen first, he (she?) is a little lumpy right now. She’s already been given a name by her eventual-owner: "Lamby". Not too original, but appropriate.
