Whatever happened to that roving?

Remember this roving? It became yarn.

I thought it would be more yellow when I was spinning it, but it’s PINK!

    Purty. Isn’t that weird how the predominant color in the roving so often doesn’t end up as the predominant color in the yarn? Someone who understands more about color theory could probably explain it, but I’m just going to ooh and ahh.
