Other half of pink castle blanket

Other half of pink castle blanket

I pulled this out as an easy thing to work on at swimming lessons. It’s also cotton so it won’t overheat me since the building where the pool lives is always warm and humid. I don’t have the pattern anymore, so i had to figure out what was going on by reading the stitches in the work. Luckily it’s an easy pattern! When the green section is square, I’ll switch back to the purple for the rest of this side. The pink half is wider; let’s hope it looks good when I sew it all together :)

Socks from Handspun

Circle socks.

This isn’t the Peacock yarn from the previous entry – it’s the Puck’s Mischief that I’ve already made a pair of socks from. It was already balled up and ready to go; so it’s on the needles and I’m making progress.

The pattern is Anne Campbell’s Circle Socks (http://www.jfcampbell.us/anne/patterns.htm)
