A stellar example of how-not-to-join your new yarn into your project. If you look close you can see the yarn from by the needle joins up with the yarn I cast on with. I made a wonderful spit-splice join, thinking I was joining to the new ball; but apparently grabbed the starting tail instead. My knitting group had a great laugh about it, and no less than two people took a picture of me and my blunder
